THROUGH PRAISE

Opening Scripture:

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. – Hebrews 13:15

Introduction

Praise is more than just a song; it is a spiritual sacrifice that brings God’s presence into our lives. Many believers underestimate the significance of praise, but the Bible reveals that praise has the power to move God in ways that no other sacrifice can.

1. Why Praise is crucial

The Scriptures teach us that God is uncomfortable where there is no praise (Hebrews 13:15). Praise is not just an act of singing; it is an offering, a fragrant sacrifice that pleases God (Genesis 8:19-21). While material gifts are valuable, nothing compares to the sacrifice of praise. Until God is pleased, He cannot move, which is why it is crucial to always strive to please Him (1 Kings 3:7).

2. The nature of True praise

  • Praise is a spiritual transaction; it is not to be treated with carnality (John 4:24).
  • The praise God desires is the sacrifice of our lips, not of blood (Isaiah 43:21).
  • Praise should be done with a heart that seeks God, not just as a routine activity.
  • Worship and praise are intertwined; the tempo of a song does not determine whether it is praise or worship.
  • Praise should be personal and deeply engaging—until it becomes personal, it cannot yield results.

3. The Power Released Through Praise

When we engage in genuine praise, we tap into divine realms where the impossible becomes possible. Through praise:

  1. We push God to do the unexpected (2 Chronicles 20:20). Praise moves God to act beyond human limitations.
  2. We unlock our heaven of testimonies (Acts 16:24-26). Paul and Silas praised God in prison, and their chains broke.
  3. We open the mouth of the earth (Psalm 67:5-7). The earth responds when God’s people praise Him.
  4. We drag our enemies into God’s court. Praise invokes divine judgment over adversaries.
  5. We unlock our heaven of answers and compel God to send us helpers. Praise releases supernatural assistance from above.

4. The Realms of Favour Through Praise

There are four levels of favor that are unlocked through a lifestyle of praise:

  1. Favour as a shield – Divine protection surrounds those who continually praise God.
  2. Favour as an element – Everything around you aligns in your favor.
  3. Good favour – Doors open for you where others struggle.
  4. Highly favoured – You enjoy uncommon blessings beyond human understanding.

5. The Lifestyle of a Praiser

A praiser is a leader among angels because praise brings heaven to earth. When you cultivate a habit of praise, angels will always be around you. That is why we must never mock those who praise God wholeheartedly.

If you want to see supernatural breakthroughs in your life, make praise a daily habit. Worship should not just be an occasional act but a lifestyle that keeps you connected to God. In the room of praise, there are realms of divine encounters waiting to be unlocked.

Conclusion

Praise is the key to unlocking divine favor, supernatural intervention, and unimaginable breakthroughs. It is not a mere religious exercise but a powerful spiritual weapon. Let us commit to making praise a lifestyle and watch God move in extraordinary ways in our lives.
