Help By Divine Instruction

Key Scripture

Now the Lord had said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran – Genesis 12: 1-4 (KJV)

Introduction

In our walk with God, divine instruction is the key to fulfilling our destiny. Many times, God does not give all the details upfront, but as we obey, clarity comes. If He were to reveal everything we would go through to become who He has called us to be, many of us may not want to become.

Key Lessons From This Message

  • Avoid relationships that hinder your progress: Stay away from those with an entitlement mentality and those with a small vision.
  • Power is found in reference: Dig deep into the Word and seek divine direction.
  • Revelation does not always come with full details: It is in obedience that God unfolds His instructions.
  • Disobedience invites curses: You cannot live in error and expect to escape the consequences.
  • Delayed obedience is delayed destiny: Every time you postpone acting on divine instruction, you prolong your breakthrough.
  • Favour and blessings require courage: It is not enough to receive God’s blessings; we must be bold to walk in them.

Steps to Coming Out of Limitations:

If you must come out of your father’s house:

  1. Change your mentality: If your mentality does not change, no prophecy will work for you.
  2. Change your speech: Stop talking the way others talk.
  3. Change your association: The company you keep determines the direction of your life.

Overcoming Fear

If you must fulfil your destiny throw away fear. Fear is a limit, fear is a siege.

The Power of Divine Instruction

  • The climax of every prayer should be for direction and instruction.
  • Many struggles arise from either not hearing or not obeying divine instructions.
  • Pastors and believers who ignore divine guidance face destruction.
  • If you manage what you should destroy, it will eventually destroy you.
  • God’s power is not in His mere presence but in the instructions He gives.
  • When God wants to change your situation, He provides an instruction.
  • Instructions may not always be audible; they can come through inner promptings and signs.

Conclusion

As believers, we must prioritize divine instruction. The difference between a life of struggle and a life of victory lies in our ability to listen and obey God’s direction. Seek His guidance, obey without delay, and watch His power manifest in your life.

One of the greatest signs that God is with you is peace. Do not run your life based on another man’s instructions; seek your own. Your glory is tied to your obedience to divine instruction. Offering is a law of service, but a seed is an instruction from God. If you disappoint God, no man can rescue you.
